Crab sheds its shell
❧ Crustaceans are interesting creatures. They have an exoskeleton that protects their vulnerable bodies. But this hard shell doesn’t grow with the rest of their body. So they have to shed it at some point. Watching this process is fascinating. Check out this Japanese spider crab wiggling free of its old shell.
