A Spencer Williams’ Film | The Blood of Jesus (1941)
As I battled the flu and flipped through public domain movies on the Roku, I discovered this real gem. A great Bible message and lots of hymns, it’s a one hour film that cost $5000 to make in 1941. I’ve come to learn it is considered a critical piece of cinema history and Black heritage. Enjoy!
